Love & Marriage Huntsville is a reality show on OWN. Mar tell holt It follows 3 successful wealthy black couples as they deal with their career and relationships. The show premiered in 2019, and is finishing up its 2nd season now. I kept seeing all the clips on Integra blogs I follow, and I was entertained by the drama so now I started watching.
Melody and Martell Holt start off as the center couple of the series. They seem like they’re the wealthiest and most successful couple at first, but then by the end of the first episode it’s clear that Melody and Martell have the rockiest relationship. Martell has been cheating on Melody for years, and Melody is reaching her breaking point. Despite her marriage problems, Martell and Melody work well together and have built a successful real estate business. They try to create a group with their other castrates to be a powerful black real estate business. Mar tell holt
Mars au and Trisha Scott have been married for years. Mars au also works in real estate while Trisha is a stay at home mom. Trisha wants to get into real estate herself and be a working woman, but her husband wants her to stay submissive and take care of the kids full time. So they struggle over Trisha wanting to gain some independence. Mars au is definitely the sexiest of the husbands to me. He does come across like a father figure to Tasha much of the time due to how he seems to try to give her lectures about her immaturity. Mars au and Martell are friends, but Tasha and Melody have more of a frenemies relationship. Mar tell holt
Lastly there is Maurice Scott and his wife Kami Grant-Scott. Maurice is Mars au’s older brother, even though Mars au looks and seems older. Kami is older than Maurice, so they’re the only couple with an age gap. Both Maurice and Kami were single parents before getting together, and also are working in real estate. They were engaged for like 7 years before finally getting married in Season 1. They seem to be the least dramatic of the couples, since most of the drama centers on Martell and his infidelity.
I just started binge watching the series which is fully available on the OWN app. I’m enjoying it so far. I never imagined how life in Alabama is, but apparently Huntsville is becoming a booming metropolis for wealthy and educated black people. There is a huge real estate market, and it’s always nice to see wealthy and successful black couples. Even if we are watching a marriage dissolve and becoming unbearably toxic with the Holts.
Martell Holt was born on the 4th of January in the year 1982. His birthplace is Huntsville, Alabama, United States. Martell studied at Alabama A&M University, from where he held a graduation degree in Education in 2008.
